FS: Mildly smokey ZX-300A

Preamble:

So, my impulsiveness can be your gain.

I ordered a NW-ZX300A from JoyBuy a while ago. They shipped out one that went to South Korea accidentally, they tried to send another that seemingly also got lost or something, and so they refunded my dough and gave up on trying to fulfill my order.

I got frustrated, a little bit angry, and rage-bought the first ZX300A that came up on eBay. I've been using it for a few weeks. It's functionally and cosmetically good, but I think it came from a smoking home, so it has a faint odor of cigarette smoke. No judgement, but I don't like that smell. Again, it's faint, and I'm probably overreacting a bit, but...

Yesterday the second ZX300A from JoyBuy actually arrived. Literally 30 days after they shipped it. And it does not smell like cigarette smoke.

I basically overpaid for the smokey ZX300A (rage-buying FTW!), but if a mild cigarette smoke smell doesn't bother you, then my impulsiveness could be your gain.

The Deal:

Good condition but faintly cigarette-smokey-smelling ZX-300A with original packaging, USB-to-proprietary-Sony-BS-connector cable, and faintly cigarette-smokey-smelling silicone case: $290 net to me, US preferred but I ain't skeert of some international shipping if you're game for paying for it (and insurance).

How smokey smelling is this thing? Well, let me construct for you my CSI (Cigarette Smokeyness Index):

0 - Dewdrops in the morning in Glacier, NP

5 - Standing in line next to a hipster who smokes half a pack of American Spirits every day

10 - Any article of clothing worn all day by The Smoking Man from the X-Files

On my CSI scale, this DAP is a solid 3.5.

Smokin’ good deal.

I have scaled down to ZX300 with FD01 and they punch well above their weight, while commiting relatively few sins.

 

Because i'm working nightshift my eyes read what they wanted instead of what they saw. This is a really good deal and i'm interested if no one else bites it.

Fingers crossed! It took them nine days from when I paid to actually ship it, and the shipping estimate on their website is 20-30 days. Not sure if that’s including the processing and packing time, or 20-30 days from it being shipped out.
