FS: Moth 2A3Si (and maybe another) $4250 or make an offer

I've got someone who is selling a Moth 2A3Si. The Moth 2A3Si is direct-coupled from the driver to the power tubes. The top and bottom plates are steel (not aluminum). The rectifier tube is outside near the back of the amp. There is no interstage transformer or interstage cap. No solid pricing yet, but I would guess that the owner is looking at somewhere near $4k for this. I know the unit works, but I'd like to give everything a run-through and listen to it. This is not the actual photo. I figured I'd throw this out there. Will take photos later.

I might also have a Moth 2A3S for sale. The S is the original "heirloom" version. There is no input selector and the top is thicker and glossy black with the Moth logo engraved directly into it. The circuit is the same, but I think this unit had some mods to it as did most of the originals because the rectifier was inside the chassis, shortening the life of the power supply caps.

I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat if I didn't have kids. I am willing to forward any reasonable offers.

Moth 2a3 is the most dynamic sounding headphone amp I have listened to. The bass and realism of 3D imaging are significantly superior to any other amps I have a chance to hear. But I have not had any experience with the Studio.
