FS: ZMF Auteur Cocobolo

Okay, this one is difficult for me; however I cannot deny that I've essentially exhausted all justifications for keeping this headphone. The fact is that I just have too many. Sentimental value or no, the right decision is to sell it to someone who will appreciate it more than me. Few things are more sad in audioland than watching a pair of ZMFs sit unused.

Condition of these is about 8/10. There are some chips in the gimbal paint, but the wood cups themselves don't seem to have any blemishes. I have tried my best to show it through pics, but my photography skills are essentially tied with a drunk baboon.

These come with:

• Wood presentation case
• OFC cable, your choice of 4-pin balanced or SE termination. If you want both, add $20
• Pads: Auteur lambskin, Auteur suede. If you want the Universe suede instead of one of those options, let me know. If you want all the pads, just throw in another $20.

Price: $1200 for CONUS friends and known contributors, all PP fees and shipping included (willing to work with international friends for shipping costs). Randos pay the HF price of $1500 shipped.

My Verite (also cocobolo) look more like your Auteur. Personally cocobolo is my favorite wood in aesthetics.

Yes, they look like red wood. Not much in the way of the dark lines through.
