I like the original Miata. I plan on buying one after i graduate college. I think its the best looking miata, so small, and cool popup headlights.

Also I plan on getting these wheels for it because they are actually so cool and fit it well

Man, how tall are you guys?

I'm 193 - 6'4'' - and while I don't have a ton of headroom in my 124 abarth I do fit fine both with the soft top and the carbon hard-top.

I’m 6-4 as well. Maybe I have tiny legs and a huge torso or vice versa?

I am about 6'-2" (depending on which convenience store I am leaving). I have about 3/4" clearance between the top of my head and the hardtop roof of the NC. For the uninitiated, there are four generations - known internally as NA through ND. Each one is different with regards to comfortable fit for taller persons. The NC is the most accommodating and the NB is the least. The ND has about the same head and hip room as the NC, but the ND is more restricted in shoulder room and is more difficult for the arthritic among us to enter and exit. Well, honestly, with a Miata you don't get in and out of them you put them on and take them off.

Yeah I guess my plan to get an NA miata may be dependent on if I can fit in one. But I think I should, I'm like 5'11".
Still, I definitely have to look into how comfortable I fit in it.

Dropping the floorpan is a standard mod for taller drivers who can't pass the broomstick test even with a lowered seat. Any shop familiar with Spec Miata cars will know how to do it, and I think there are even DIY kits now.

No way to put in lower-profile seat rails?

In any case, I guess I'm mostly legs - it is a constant pain finding trousers in a country where waist/inseam is all baked into a single sizing and inseam doesn't go above 32" on any of them.

    I'm a 34" :drunk:

Depending on how much of the 5-11 is torso, you'd likely be ok in a NA. The NB may even work.

You can, but they only drop the seat a little -- often not enough for tall drivers, especially if the car will be taken to the track, where the driver will be required to wear a helmet that does not protrude above the roofline.

I'm reliably informed that brassiere fitting is similarly difficult in your country.

My inseam is also 34". I'm 5'-10", and I've never failed to fit comfortably into any sports car with a helmet on, even when other drivers my height -- but presumably with different leg/torso ratios -- couldn't fit no matter what they tried.

Check out this new electric AWD SUV. I’d actually consider this thing if I wanted a truck and it had more range. It’s definitely the sexiest SUV I’ve seen in a long time. f**k crossovers. The minimalist industrial design of this thing makes me wet my pants.

At $125,000 it would be as realistic for me to be considering an Italian super-model.

Why Italian? I didn’t look at the price tag actually because I’m not interesting an electric vehicle right now. I like changing gears!

But by the end it wasnt a full car, lost his hood, rear window, part of fender, and dented roof.
Pretty damn cool though, and almost beat the hoonicorn. Pretty insane build.

One of these days ill have an RX7. Not one like that though...

I tend to be one of the folks that watch his YT content and kind of cringe. There's a lot that he gets right, but there's stuff that's really unacceptable all over that car from a safety standpoint. A lot of stuff he's fixed, but man, that first full throttle (not even full boost yet) run had to be absolutely terrifying. There's still a lot of not really race-ready stuff on that car (i.e. single shear bolts all over, no safety wiring/proper fastener retaining hardware) that I'd be hugely hesitant taking a car like that above double digit speed. But it is really cool to watch him fail towards success with an engine that literally only maybe dozens of people have experience with in the entire history of mankind. That was a big day for someone with engineer-cred to see what real-world fabricator-cred means.

Put my winter wheels and tires on my 300C.

These are 2013 police charger wheels, and honestly I think I like them more than my stock chrome wheels...

The front suspension on my 300 is now completely new. I replaced the upper control arms 3 years ago and those are still good. Today we replaced struts, springs, inner and outer tie rods, lower control arms, torque struts, sway bar end links and sway bar bushings.

Also the buddy I bought the 68 Polara from drove it over to help me with the 300 and my other buddy drove him back to Rochester.

You don't realize how big these C body Mopars are until you park it in the same spot as your other big car and it completely dwarfs it.

Ahh your a man of culture too I see, ngl I almost spent $1500 to buy a 90's era Miata... 200K on the engine with leaky seals but otherwise it was pretty clean. I was intending to buy it and some tools and possibly engine swap it when it finally died

But some how I bought my Stax 009 system instead... that said I think I want to get myself the new 2020/2021 AWD Turbo Mazda 3 before I buy my self a project Miata
