    Some great stuff in this thread!

    Some favorites from me include:

    Morphine, my all time favorite band


    Mose Allison, because every young man should listen to Mose growing up


    Jimmy Smith, because this song has the greatest jazz solo I have ever heard


    I also love a good female vocalist, here is a nice Sunday morning tune from Lisa Ekdahl (the whole album Lisa Ekdahl - Sings Salvadore Poe is fantastic)


    And I *love* Hope Sandoval
