    List has been jumbled up a bit due to requests to either drop out or rearrange. Next up will be @PoochZag. Thanks @jmcmasterj for being flexible as we handle the fluid logistics situation.

    Given the drop outs, and to be equitable since @jmcmasterj has had it longer than we anticipated, I'm increasing loaner time to 5-6 days per person. As usual, send it out in 5 if you can afford to. Even with the increased time per person, we're ahead of schedule by about 10 days b/c of drop outs.

    This time I've included estimated receiving/send out dates to help you all plan.

    UPDATED Gungnir Multibit LIST

    If it's in my possession during Christmas break, it might not get sent out until January 4th. I'll be in town, but I always send stuff via FedEx through my work because it's considerably less expensive. If I can't keep it that long, I'll just eat the extra cost if the local FedEx is open. I won't send it via USPS though. They break everything.

    @Luckbad, thanks for thinking ahead.

    I'll play with the schedule a bit to see if we can find a bit more equity, but probably no updates till later this week when I have time.

    I think that varies entirely by location. I have had countless things broken by UPS, and nothing ever by USPS - except for one pair of glass candlesticks. Fedex is generally good - but I have heard stories of Fedex boxes being delivered empty.

    Insurance claims are another factor, I've had claims go simple and smooth with USPS, and nightmares with UPS (even when they packed the damn item in their own store, that "pack and ship promise" means jack).

    Sphinxvc - you have a "conversation" (which I gather is XenForo Forum-speak for "PM").

    Replied. Saw it come in yesterday but it got buried under other PMs, sorry about that. I generally respond <24 hrs; feel free to nudge me if I don't.

    Will post my impressions in the Gungnir Multibit thread in a couple days. Should be interesting as this is my first big time DAC (ODAC and SMSL M8 previously among others). It's still freezing from being out on the truck, but I keep flipping back and fourth trying to compare

    Just sent the Gungnir Multibit to @recarcar

    How much did this thing weigh for you guys? I put the 7lbs pounds when buying my shipping label online, but it measured as 12lbs 1oz at the post office, and obviously I paid the difference. At first I thought I was being ripped off by their scale, but I just checked Schiit's website and it says a Gungnir (unsure if DS or multibit) weighs 11lbs...

    So just FYI I guess

    When I shipped mine out the other day, I put 13 lbs just to be safe. (It came up as 12 lb 2 oz on my home scale.)

    Thanks both of you for putting my mind at ease. I thought I read 7lbs somewhere earlier in this thread from memory, but oh well, no harm no foul it's getting to where it needs to go.

    Sorry, that'd be my fault. I think the box said 7lbs on it, so I assumed that was official. I've corrected it to read 13lbs.

    Here's a proposed sched:

    @recarcar keeps it till the 13th of dec
    @Hands, dec 14-21
    @Luckbad, dec 23-jan 4
    @Original Ken, jan 6-12
    @uncola, jan 14-19

    Gungnir Multibit's likely to end up back with hands for a few comparative tests against Bifrost Multibit

    @Luckbad previously mentioned that he would be able to save money if he could send it out on Jan. 4th. So if we can delay myself and uncola a couple of days, that would work out for him. (Also Jan. 2nd is Saturday and Jan. 10th is Sunday).
