How not to behave ... A PM story

Hi Shotgun, Marv, and rtaylor76(Ryan) who is the seller of a massdrop CTH and an acopian LPS to me.

The seller lost the LPS package and remains unwilling to send me a refund nor covering me up from not receiving the enture package (I only received the cth but not the lps), even after he should have seen my last message one hour ago from this post, according to the system activity view. He did update to me that USPS have sent him $63 dollars for losing the LPS package. Until then, I have received no refund, no update in a refund coming in, and it seems to me that the seller plans to get away from this after claiming the refund he got from USPS. He also sent an offending message to me speculating things that are not true.

I'd like to do a return on this incomplete sale. I've explained how the package has been lost from shipping to Shane earlier through private conversation. This message is to request a full refund from this seller, and I'd like to return what I bought from him. I'll cover the return shipping but I want my money back in advance because trust is already lost for the seller.

From a buyer's perspective this member is a rather irresponsible seller so after this case is closed, I'd also like to find a proper way to publicize the situations I met in the sale, especially the way the seller responds to my requests. please check the last 3 conversations Ryan sent to me and you would probably tell how he responds to things.

I hope the logistics are well explained in this message. If not I would love to fill in the details from my prospective.

I see only two options here..

- I give you a partial refund of $30 for the missing LPS. I cound a total loss of $80 on my part, but you were promised a LPS. $30 is and even split and still means you got a barley used stock MCTH in original packaging for $195. That is about tbe going price on the used market for these.

Or

- A full return of the MCTH upon the return of the MCTH to me. Shipping on you. I paid shipping once. And no, no refund before arrival. It does not work tbat way. You are also not a friend or contributor to this site and took a chance on selling to you.

You have also had the MCTH for 6 weeks. Not even a retail store would take a full return, so that is not a bad deal if you have such a bad tase in your mount about something you were already happy with by itself fkr the price you paid:

   If I didn't receive a refund from you, you're banned from SBAF and on headfi as well as I'll speak to mods over there, and I'll have this scam recod on file for 911 with your name and address. Is that good?

2. I'll return the CTH in it's original 7.5/10 condition with maybe a couple hours added on to the stock tube.
   
   No business to be done with you ever, it's not about the product or about momey anymore.

   This asshole got 63 bucks of lost package from USPS, and is willing to offer me 30 bucks, that's ok.
   This asshole is requiring me to pay the back shipping for a sale that he did not fulfill, that's ok too.

I don't want to have any private conversations with him anymore so I wish him to reply all further message here. The reason I am furious about this is the indifferent attitude of rtaylor76 to a buyer who didn't receive all the package.

 

rtaylor76, please don't attempt to send me further private conversations as I don't intend to leave things under the water with you anymore. The fact is you sold me an incomplete sale to me and refuse to refund properly, and refuse to deal proactively. Even for the return shipping, I am paying for it. But that's fine.

Also to mods, after a sale like this, please consider limiting his selling privilege here.

I sent the pictures above in the Google drive shared files, but since you mentioned you think the condition is not 7.5/10 while it's clearly 7.5/10 for me according to Audiogon scale, I have a strange feeling that you will not refund me $225 fully even after receiving the CTH. Enen though I'm sure the cosmetics condition is unaltered. Are you sure you will refund me fully and you have checked the Google shared pictures and will do the refund?

 

As long as it it received, works, and everything included I will refund the full amount.

Condition looks the same as when I received it as far as I can tell by the pictures. It does not have a good finish to begin so it may look worse to you.

I have not even received the $63 back from USPS, only saw the decision. I will send you the full amount back if you want to keep it. If not, send away.

 

Send me 63-13=50 if that's good. I'm not an unreasonable person and believe you paid at least 13 bucks for shipping using USPS priority (although to a wrong address).

USPS approved it on 8/16 in the amount of $62.05



The sale was a bundled deal, but I will refund the full amount of the LPS, as soon as I confirm payment from USPS, to you to prove what an honest person I am.

There is an Acopain A28MT300 right now on eBay for $45. (Not implying that was the one lost as it is clearly not it by the pictures). Just mentioning this if you really wanted to pick up an LPS for the MTCH.

I will keep in touch. I don't know how long it takes to get a check from USPS. Hopefully very soon.

 

OK. I'll hold the CTH then. It's after all a good amp as I said.
