I always wondered about cell phones and hearing loss

Seems more than an hour of talking on a cell (conventionally) per day can cause measurable hearing loss.

Bluetooth is ok though. Interesting recap of some studies.

Now I know why all these folks are in the supermarket and on walks talking to their phone like it is a sandwich on a plate. They obviously knew something I did not.

Great info and vid, thanks. Also, this is almost entirelly dependant on dose radiated. Which means the situation in poor signal contitions is much worse than in good signal. anyway, use bluetooth whenever possible, and if the phone is warming up, that probably means it's radiating more.

Glad to say that I am not a regular cellphone user. Well, OK, I use that thing with a screen, that fits in my pocket, for several hours a day, but very little (frequently none) of that is as a telephone. So I can't blame it for my hearing loss.
