Hey guys, I just wanted to share something I made to help me easily search and filter through classifieds on HeadFi. Back on the old site, searching for listings was really horrible as it picked up a lot of archived listings. With the new HeadFi in full swing, I decided to make my script a website and thus http://headficlassifieds.devbrada.com/ was born.

Let me know if this isn't the right place to post this. I hope this is useful to you guys and let me know of any suggestions. I'm currently trying to fix up some stuff like searching by price in a range, and maybe in the future adding the amps and sources section.

That's really excellent, bookmarked! Small detail, typo in "Search Heaf-Fi easily now."

Is it possible to have filters rather than just sorting options? Such as filtering out "wanted" ads, or selecting a range of prices, etc.

Yes, that is being worked on. I'm not the best programmer (I do this as a hobby), but rest assured it is worked on as soon as I figure out the documentation.

Added some filters, still working on the price range filter, but everything should be working now. Also added in more categories like amps and sources

Thanks, this is what HF itself should have offered all along- the ability to restrict by currency etc. is very useful.

Is it OK if I put the link in the Resources and Search section?

For those who don't know, this site also provides a neat interface to search for hifi equipment:
    https://www.hifishark.com/

Among other things it indexes HF classifieds (at least it worked fine until the HF move to XF, not sure now), as well as allowing to filter by website, currency conversion, etc. I always found it easy to check HF and numerous other local flea markets for a specific product.

    Yes, go ahead.

I use HiFi Shark too. It's really good. Let's hope they fix the catalog for headfi.

Thank you very much for this. The interface is simple and clean. It's fast and works as intented.

One suggestion, is it possible to add a filter to remove titles having the world "sold" in them? Many people are adding that to the title of sold items, and it would help to remove them from active searches.
