Before publishing Fidelizer ROMs for iBasso DX200 unit, I used to release Fidelizer ROMs for iBasso DX50/80/90 too. However, the project was on hold due to unfavorable interference in Head-Fi.

Yesterday, I received order for Advanced ROM of DX80 and I also was tipped for DX50 a day before as well. So, I spend all day baking and cooking all iBasso DX50/80/90 ROMs which are 15 ROMs in total. It was very exhausting.

iBasso DX50/80/90 will contain the following features as below:

-Based on most recent version from official iBasso website
-System font was replaced with lighter version of Nimbus font
-build.prop tweaks for better video and storage performance and improve battery life
-audio engine optimized for only audio playback (EQ/Gaplass features work)
-bundled audio effects removed but keep main engine

    Download: DX50 - DX80 - DX90

    Installation Guide

    1. Extract update.img from archive and copy to internal storage (or the micro SD slot 1 for DX80)
    2. Open device Settings > Advanced > System Update
    3. Wait for device to finish flashing
    5. After flashing is completed, I recommend choosing Slow filter

Since many people asked for Gaplass and Equalizer, I decided to lower the bar for people who want it. This is different from Advanced ROM I cooked for some members before but that's as far as I can do to keep up with compatibility request.

If you have any question about the ROM to ask personally, please use my E-Mail address [email protected] instead of PM for faster response. :)

Very good! I use these as digital transports and firmware makes a big difference to jitter performance. Rockbox sounded like crap compared to the stock firmware or Lurker firmware. A minimalist version of the DX50 firmware in particular is very welcome. Thanks!

With pleasure. DX50 works great for digital transport at affordable price. It also sound great with some opamps and caps upgrade too. :)

I used to share free DX90 ROM mods, Lurker interfered claiming all I did was useless tweaks (yet he later followed my footsteps in modding ParticleComponents.cfg). We had some arguments and mods sided with Lurker and ban me from the thread, made me left the stage.

After I start modding again with DX200 for a while, Lurker came back again with the same old pattern. I tried to talk with Head-Fi about becoming a sponsor for 3 whole months with zero progress. Their final call was locking all my threads, ask very huge money for only 6 month sponsorship. I would have paid it if moderators are understandable and supportive enough but they're like old timer bureaucrats so I left for good.
