I'm wanting to try and maybe buy a decent step up transformer between my AT-OC09ML/MkII and EAR 834p. Anyone in the L.A. area have one they're looking to sell, or might want to lend me for a couple days to see what it sounds like?

FWIW - I would offer to send you one of mine to borrow but honestly they are like $30 on Amazon (IIRC), the problem is the shipping ends up costing more than the value of the thing :(

    Duh! ><

    Sorry, my mistake.

Yeah I tried shopping for a SUT for a little bit and ended up going a dedicate pre with MC capability. Argh, no such thing as cheap SUT's even DIY that I could find.

Just doesn't seem right either! That $36 deal on amazon steps up AND down! And it's a whole lot bigger! And what kind of name is "Bob's Devices"? Sounds amateurish to me and I could buy like 40 of those amazon jiggies for one of Bob's! Who is this Bob anyway??? Screw analogue... I want an Yggdrasil...

(please disregard the previous stream of silliness, long day, not enough tequila...)
