I can’t seem to find any anywhere. Just shitty generic 7 dollar cables on Amazon but nothing comparable to what comes stock on basically all iem’s. No Litz braid extension cables. I checked amazon, AliExpress, eBay and google. What do people do who need more length? I don’t need a 300$ extension cable but I thought at least I’d find a 30$ ish Litz braided one on AliExpress or amazon or eBay etc

Try Ted from this site. He’ll build whatever cables you want for iems and headphones for a fair price. I’ve used him many times over the years: https://headphonelounge.com/

Ted is a good dude that makes a damn nice cable. I got a 3.5mm extension cable from him a year or two ago and I've had zero issues.

Yeah, I don't think it's been updated in quite a while. And it probably wasn't the greatest back when it first went up, lol.

Here is a pic of the extension I got:

Are those switchcraft mini plugs? I love those but requested his lightest smallest plugs even if that meant plastic so the cable wouldn’t be too heavy.

    Good info from Ted:

litz means each single strand is coated so no signal can transfer to other strands. isolates each one making it 105 separate signal paths.
occ means ohno continuous cast a process that using a heated draw that melds the internal structure of metals into one long crystalline structure for cleanest signal path.
type 2 litz is the structural alignment of how the strands are first twisted into small groups then those groups twisted together to form one.
type one is a single twisted group. type 2 is multiple groups twisted. there are other types (4 has a cotton or nylon single strand in the very middle of groups of strands of type 2) (type 6 has those cotton or nylon inside of each group of strands in type 2 style)

I got my extension cable from Ted. It’s super nice. I asked for small lightweight jacks and he definitely delivered. Small, lightweight but still made of metal and seem very high quality. The plugs are made by Sennheiser.
