Yes, the old ones with the soft silicone shell. The shell has degraded to where they won't hold shape anymore. Thanks much for suggestion.

You guys mind steering me a bit? I've been on the headphone track for about 10 years and have really figured out what I like.

Now I want to try some IEM but am finding the excessive options and no experience with them daunting.

I love nuetral, high resolution and a good image. Looking to try something new or used for under $800. Thinking maybe Campfire Jupiter?

I love the Denon D2000 and today have the 7200. I love their frequency response. HD800 flat out hurts my ears even with SDR.

Oh, and comfort is king. Main reason I want to try them is because I'm so sensitive to clamping pressure.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't want to recommend any particular IEM as I haven't heard them all yet but I will say comfort-wise my more rcent UERR and UE5 made with their electronic ear scanner is much more comfortable than and C/IEM I've ever had in the past (including old UE CIEM and multiple silicone custom ear plugs from different companies), and more comfortable than most of my headphones... IF nothing is going on inside of my ear. As far as I could tell the scanner is not proprietary but I didn't ask.

If the ears itch or are otherwise mildly irritated on any given day may or may not somewhat annoying. Also as you may know already iems are supposed to be bad for the ears when exercising but the one time I did try them while exercising I didn't like them.

So I use IEMs at work for my music listening. I've been through a few pairs. first were the 7 dollar monoprice specials...I can't remember the model. They sounded decent but the fit sucked and they would slide out of my ears gradually. they are also really finicky about fit, so when you get a good deep insertions and seal they would sound great, than once they slid out far around you would lost that and they would just start to sound flat and weak.

Most recently I've been using Carbo Tenores and they are ok, but the bass Ive always found lacking, So Ive been looking for something that sounds like the Temores but with more bass, but I don't want the bass to crap all over everything else either. I Know I will have to spend more money.

Most recently I tried some LZA4s, partially just because they were intriguing with the filters, but ultimately I just settled on the rear filter that gave the most bass and the front that gave the most high end and they did sound pretty good..but they hurt the hell out of my ears.

So what am I looking for...an IEM with a nice clean sound and great bass with a good comfortable fit..

dont know if talking money here is frowned upon but Im probably in the 1 to 200 dollar range...would ideally like to stay more towards 100...used is ok.

I would suggest reading up on the iBasso IT01, I think it not only meets your ideal price point but should satisfy what you're looking for in terms of sound signature. I can't speak on how the fit will be for you so I would suggest finding a retailer with a good return policy (like Prime) just in case, if you decide to try them out.

Yeah they look like they are shaped reasonably like they are meant to go in someone's ear unlike the Monoprice and the LZ..so they would probably be fine.

Your post only said you bought them, how about giving us your impressions of them, how they compare to what you had before, etc.?

Also keep in mind Black Friday is in a few weeks and I’d be shocked if they didn’t go on sale again so if anyone is interested they should probably wait a bit.

Dislike of the first post for not providing any explanation of your Brainwavz. Dislike of your second post for caring about dislikes.

Has anyone heard the BGVP DMG, ER3SE, EDC3 or Tenhz P4 Pro that's on Massdrop now?

I am using a Earwerkz Supra 2BA reshell and am looking for a universal to keep as backup. I used to have a Pinnacle PX but sold it to fund the Supra. I find the IT01 and PX quite close in comparison, with PX taking a small edge for its fit (I've no issues with its treble extension, just a bit thin for violins and subbass extension is lacking).

Does anyone have suggestions in the 80USD-160USD price bracket to consider? I am funnily alright with vshaped OR balanced IEMs. The important thing as I listen to many many genres is 1) timbre accuracy 2) no bleed between frequencies 3) decent extension (e.g. PX actually extends less downward than my PX, I found MD+ treble extension lacking).

I am currently considering the Tin Audio T2 Pro (DD alternative to my PX?), Rose Technics Mini 2 Mkii, Tenhz P4 Pro, ER3SE (I've heard the ER4SR and although I said I like extension, this is excusable compared to the PX which gives you physical slam without actual extension), EDC3 (willing to take a plunge on the reduced treble extension compared to the pricier MD+, curious how it compares to EDC3), KZ BA10 (the shell fit looks scary though) and am open to more suggestions!

Some past IEMs I've liked are the B400 (if it had a bit more extended treble), KZ ZS3/ATR/ED16 aka ZS7, IT01, ATH-E40/IM02 (I funnily didn't like the LS200 as much), Mee Pinnacle PX/P1 and for headphones, HD600/HD650/DT880. I drive these all from a V20 which is somewhere between 1-3ohms OI. I wasn't a fan when demoing an Andro, on classical and jazz the notes are decaying way too fast compared to how they sound in real life at least to me.

    Thanks in advance!
