I've to admit that this is one of the first JH's uiem that got me interested as i'm a fan of TF10 when i starting out in this hobby, too bad the fit is not so good for me so new style uiem shell sounds like a good idea for me!

*****edit**** sorry for misunderstanding i should double check the source first but this is not collaboration*****
this is supposed to be UE tf10 in new UIEM shell that suppose to be easier fit.

Come with FREQPHASE TECHNOLOGY (ok that put me off a bit) and nice looking faceplate, limited edition (1000 units)

the price will be around 6XX $ if i convert the currency right.

It is first of all, a Japan limited model with a total of 1000 units. And I don't see any mentioning of UE authorizing anything or being involved in any way.

Also this seems to me like JH is using his "redesigned" BAs to make a UIEM based on the original TF10. At least the source article doesn't imply this is simply TF10 in another shell.

I get the feeling this is as much a "tf10 in another shell" as the UERM was supposed to be. Still, I'm curious to see how this is received by 1,000 people in/near Japan.

So I just joined over here. A little more active on the other audio forum. I started the thread over there for the TriFi. Ended up pre ordering it by a stroke of luck and it will be here any day now. Hopefully it lives up to my expectations. I'll try to remember and share pics and impressions here (mind you, I'm not that great at describing audio like a typical audiophile!)
