    I'm curious on how music is tested. Do you bring your own laptop/phone with music or will people/vendors have something hooked up at their table?

    folks with gear on tables will almost always have a laptop or music device. you could always bring your source thing with you and see if its useful.

    @winders dislike!! well, more like that sucks the big time, hope your car gets fixed. if my in-laws weren't staying with us this weekend y'all could come over for some grilling and vinyl. maybe some other time.

    She's not broken....she needs camber changes, which then requires an alignment, which then requires corner balancing. I have friend that has all the right tools (strings, camber gauges, and scales) and helps me do this for free. If I take it to a shop that knows what they are doing it's a $1200 job. We can get it done in a day....but his only free day is...you guessed it...the 15th!

    Soon I am building a 3 car detached garage steel building that will have a lift. I will get some scales, camber gauges, and string alignment set, Then, I will be able to do this all on my own.

    People who not have been to these kinds of hobbyists driven meets should definitely attend. Knowing who is coming, there is going to be stuff here that sounds way better than any of the CanJams. Hobbyists are not bound to use only one or a set of manufacturers' gear. They are free to mix and match best of breed for best synergies.

    Also, it's a good idea to get to know local people who can help you out. Members ask me how they can get Friend status. Well, this is pretty much the fastest way. Expect people to be super friendly and go out of their way to help.

    Yes, I am pissed that I am not going to be able to make it. I was looking forward to meeting many of those in the L.A. area SBAF crowd. I was also looking forward to having a chance to listen to some different headphones to see what was out there that was different and better than the HD 650 cans I have.

    I am still trying to work a way around this....but I would say I have a 1% chance of working something out.

    I have an Odyssey too. The licking is fine (but ONLY the gear) I'll be cleaning up the drool with Glade all purpose cleaner when you're done. It works great when one of my cats pukes all over one of my power strips.
