Sparkos Labs creates their own Discrete Opamps and other parts and finally put them all together to create a headphone amplifier and preamp! This amp was specifically requested when I was Gearmaster and I got us one. It doesn't sound that special with orthos but I'm guessing, like the DSHA3F it may sound really good with ZMF's and Focals. But you'll have to sign up to find out!

Note: Zach uses this amp as one of his reference amps for tuning his ZMF headphones and has praised it's neutrality. I agree that the amp is extremely neutral and not in the "bright, thin" kind of way but truly neutral in the way that tis true to the source and non fatiguing (unless the source is).

I took part in a loaner of this amp set up by Sparkos, and thought it was a very fine amp. The bass is very quick and solid, and the highs are extended and smooth. As rhythmdevils said, it's neutral in the best way.
