Great to hear that the Vanguards are getting around. Looking forward to the listening impressions. A local audio enthusiast in Northern VA will be picking up the satin piano black ones this Thursday.

 

Sorry if I missed this, but when are these going on sale/shipping? Are they being sold through Underwood Wally?

 

Production is literally starting up this week - we gave the factory the authorization to proceed. I would guess about 2 months more. The availability of the drivers in a timely manner has been an issue lately. These will be sold direct from Vera-Fi Audio. We will have a web store up by then.

 

This is great news. I have recommended them to a few folk thinking they were already available

 

What was the decision on the amount of insurance? It still says “XXX” in the initial post.

Retail is $799. Cost of the unit on tour is a prototype so actual value is higher.

 

Per speaker or for both? Assuming for both, would insuring for $900 (or $1200, or...) be a satisfactory recovery for you on your end in the worse case scenario of a shipping company losing/destroying them?

 

Please insure the speakers for $750 and the amp (if included) for $500 thank you

loaner rec'd yesterday, unboxed today. Big gash in the side of the box and thru the inner box, but speakers themselves appear undamaged (save the previously mentioned crease in the tweater mesh)

 

@Boops would you like to join the loaner for both the amp and speakers and try them again with moar power?

 

That would be great. Can you put me somewhere near the end of the line logistics permitting? Work is busy for the. next 3–4 weeks.
