Running a little behind and will finish up with these over the weekend, apologies for the delay. Will ship by Monday at the latest, possibly over the weekend.

Edit: I just noticed I'm on the "both pairs" list, I only received one pair of headphones. Sorry I was too spaced out from work and I forgot I'm supposed to get two pairs. I'm OK with only the one pair but don't want the second pair lost. @E_Schaaf

There is in fact only one pair per leg of the tour. GenP was a separate roster, if you want to hear that one too I can send one over unrelated to the roster. If that was oversight on my part in terms of scheduling I dearly apologize. I'm not even a gearmaster, dunno how they make it look so effortless

Ok good. I thought “both pairs” meant both as well. As long as we’re not loosing headphones we’re good

 

East Gen G rec'd today

white rolls loose and rolling around under the mesh and no plugs appear to be installed. Question, what represents the closest tuning to the upcoming new shell version? I'd like to listen to this tuned as closely as possible to the new version...

Yeah, that was the case when I received them. Where you place the 2 rolls can make a pretty big difference. I initially put them at roughly 3:00 and 9:00 - the headphones sounded pretty bassy to me. I went looking through the thread and found pictures where it looked like the rolls were almost as close as you can get to the wires at the bottom, maybe 4:00 and 8:00, with 3 holes showing at the top. When I moved them to match, bass was tamed noticeably.

 

Complicated - because the new version is still in development and also acoustically different enough that it's not quite replicable with those enclosures. I'd suggest enjoying them for what they are and try to have fun exploring what's there
