This app switches your Audio Midi sample rate to match the song playing in Apple Music. It alway drove me nuts that OSX wouldn't do this automatically. I try to play all my music in it's native bit depth and sample rate, and this little tray app makes this happen without my having to check the song details, then switch the settings in the Audio Devices applet.

Hope this is useful to others as well, thought I'd share.

Thank you for sharing this midi sample application.
Update- it seems my IOS has some corrupted files or not updated software. It doesn't allow me to run the application. Can someone help me with this problem?

It's for Mac and I assume you mean MacOS (not iOS)? What are the error messages? When I downloaded the zip, the system put up a security warning and I just had to tell it to keep the file.

Hello brother. This problem usually happens because you turn your MAC updates off and don't get the latest drivers for your software, and some files required are missing on your computer. I had a similar problem when trying to install the GitHub recording application from GitHub. Try updating your MAC IOS and try again. If errors keep appearing, I suggest you read this blog post about the most useful way to restore your mac IoS system using the additional applications. If you get more questions about restoring process, let me know in private messages. I will be glad to share my experiences with you.

Never noticed this thread. This is a great app for Apple Music users. @lithiumnk was who showed me this app a couple of weeks back. What I noticed was, when a 48kHz track is playing in AM and the MIDI is set to 44kHz, there is a very slight digital hash. As this app automatically switches to the correct sample rate, it helps get rid of this hash. The difference is very very slight that I wouldn’t obsess over it. But given that the app is free and doesn’t add any cluster to the UI and UX, I like using it.

Soundsource (paid) is also really good. Can change sample rate, add peq, and choose output based on app.
