No the regular EDC

 

Regular EDC are altogether <very> warm, you're not going to get hit with much in the upper mids and treble with EDC.
If you want good to mids to upper mids balance (but the upper mids never getting out of hand), go EDC3.
What are you looking for with regards to mids/upper mids?

 

I want recessed upper mids and treble, forward lower mids and bass.

 

Ah! Then yes, try the regular EDC.

 

If you perhaps know of another IEM in that price range that fits my criteria even better, please tell me. Would be really appreciated.

 

Moondrop Starfield would also be a good choice but costs a little more.

 

Have you also heard the 1More E1017 Dual Driver?

 

^No, sorry. Heard the triple driver and it was really bassy. No idea how the Dual sounds.

 

I’ve read reviews of the Starfield. Most people say the upper mids are emphasized due to them being tuned to the Harman curve.

Do you perhaps know of an IEM that is even smoother than the EDC in the uppermids and treble, in that price range?
