There's two releases coming out Friday im super hyped for.

Hypno5e is putting out their new album Sheol. I didn't like their last one, Distant (Dark) Source very much, but the two before that, Shores of the Abstract Line and Acid Mist Tomorrow are both amazing progressive death metal. This new is sounding pretty incredible so far




To the Grave has their new album Director's Cuts coming out. its also sounding pretty great so far

Mental Cruelty put out their new album Zwielicht last week and its incredible. As big a step forward as A Hill to Die Upon was from their previous work, I think this is just as big, Zwielicht is channeling a lot of recent Lorna Shore energy, but ill be damned if they haven't surpassed Lorna Shore, specially in comparison to Pain Remains. This is top tier deathcore, I can't imagine this not being on my year end list.

 

^ I'm not big in to deathcore but that stuff is really well produced

 

Synestia is doing a split with Disembodied Tyrant, but its not a normal split, they're working on all the songs together, they put the first one out and its better than anything on Synestia's last album(which is also great!)

Synestia put I, The Devourer out a few months ago, and its amazing. But the other day they put out the title track of the new split, and I have to say, this is one of the best deathcore songs ive ever heard. a dynamic and pacing masterclass, I cannot wait for the rest of this release to come out.

 

I never thought I'd be able to see them live since they broke up 20yrs ago, but here I am, so thankful to be able to see them 3 nights in a row last week. Their live energy and power were like none other that I have ever seen.
