The tall building is a horn loaded subwoofer. Craig mentioned this was the only way to build a sub that could keep up with the widebanders. The windbander drivers are from some boutique manufacter in Canada. I believe they are still being offered, at $6k a pair.

Are they using Voxativ drivers? Certainly looks like it.

At $35k asking price, you'd think he could've put up a some more recent photos.

Do it. Wait until I am on break. I want to hear them too.

Now to convince my parents I need an extra year of college, but the tuition check needs to be made out to me...

In the add it says "Please do not waist my time, if you do not have the means to purchase such a system ."
It never says anything about wasting his time. Sentence unclear, and a comma for some reason. Feel free to waste his time

Just do not waist it ...

After careful consideration I decided not to buy these and get me a pair of ZMF Authors instead.
All I have to do now is explain to my wife how I just saved us $33500. :)

LOL, some funny things in the specifications:
"Shape: Empire State Building & Hollywood Bowl"

Personally it reminds me more of Metropolis and the tower of babel.

The Reps driver. I thought the AERs were generally preferred over the Reps, at least in the Lamhorn. Interesting. One of the drivers looks like it needs a new cone with the whizzer out of shape. At least if the pics are still accurate.

Actually looking closer both drivers look like they're in a pretty bad condition. That's disappointing. I don't want to know what the voice coil looks like considering that the whizzer is attached to the voice coil former. I also find it odd how the drivers on the RL-Acoustics website have a convex surround, while on the pics it's concave. All the other pics I could find were also concave, so I guess they never had a convex surround in the first place.
