Daddy Cool! This one is the best combo of audio & video quality, but you owe it to yourself to listen also to 'Eagle Rock".

I went to a bunch of concerts in the 70's, both rock and jazz/fusion. In no particular order:

    Jethro Tull
    Kansas
    Supertramp
    Rush
    Maynard Ferguson x2
    Buddy Rich x2
    Weather Report
    Herbie Hancock
    Return to Forever x2.

Right now, I still listen to all of the above except Maynard and Buddy. Faves are early Rush, Weather Report, early RTF, and Tull. Also listen to other prog rock from the late 60's/early 70's (ELP, King Crimson, Cream).

I dunno how awkward any of those are, though I sure heard'em a lot.

This song is one I still play. The way he played guitar and used melodies and crafted his sound. Sometimes singer-songwriters transcend even the Proto-Metal and Prog greats...

You can't imagine how many times I played this LP on the family RCA console stereo. A big furniture looking piece that looked like a buffet with nice grill cloths over the front firing speakers and the turntable under an hinged wood cover for the whole thing.

    Something like this!

Yeah I missed those bands by a few years, I didn't really start going to concerts until the mid to late 80's...there are a bunch of those blues bands I would have enjoyed seeing, like Humble Pie

    Here's "I Don't Need no Doctor"
