I want to be an Audeze believer, but the inconsistencies are worse than the bible.

How are you liking the sound?

I really like your graph. Particularly the post 4k energy.

I hate to burst your bubble, and I don't mean what I am about to say with any disrespect to you, but Audeze supplied graphs don't mean much. It's impossible to ascertain transient response quality, treble spikes, or driver matching with the one smoothed over FR graph they are providing. The best method is direct subjective comparison short of non-smoothed CSDs over an open plate (to identify ringing and infer diaphragm tension). Even then, subjective impressions via direct comparison is still superior.

I don't get it. I look at those graphs and see sucked out mids. Why does this look good?

I'll see if I can get them measured. They sound great, I thought the first lot of Fazors sucked. Bright, lean, inconsistent. These actually sound closer to the pre fazor when it comes to vocals, extension and tone. The treble is not harsh at all, it's very smooth sounding overall.

Does anyone know when the latest silent revision was (approximately). If there has been an improvement, versus just variance, with the latest fazor models, curious how recent one should seek out if going used (presuming that new you will be fine, again assuming an actual revision improvement and not just variance).

I've seen a couple of October 2015 graphs that looked improved. Personally I'd say late November and upwards and you are good!

Are these good with EDM? Thinking of buying one as impressions of the latest revision seem very favourable.

I found my (now sold) LCD-2F simply superb with EDM. But I wasn't overly impressed with any other genres, except maybe metal...
