    Hey guys! New here.

    "Me x3" on Head-Fi
A bit over 2k posts there mostly helping people in the recommendation thread.
I normally enjoy reading about audio and I've enjoyed Changstar, although I've never joined.

I've studied physics in the past and nowadays I'm mostly into engineering (not audio engineering for now, but would like to go that route in the future)

I've been always positive on measurements and interested in the understanding of how the objective side of things relates to our subjective perception.

I live in Argentina, here you earn less dollars for the same work and everything audio-related is more expensive. Plenty of brands aren't here at all and importing is expensive and even risky, so... yeah, not the best place for us.

Anyway, I've managed to get some quality stuff through the years and will surely get some more cool things in the future. (Gungnir Multibit?, we'll see)

I enjoy discussing gear and measurments very much, but at the end of the day I really think that music, recording quality and personal mood play key roles when it comes to enjoying this wonderful hobby.

    Keep up the great work!

Hey there guys, I was a longtime lurker from back on CS when it started and decided to make an account when we moved over to the new site. I'm an engineering student and love all things engineering and science. For this reason I love measurements and also love getting my hands a little dirty with some diy and modding.

Welcome new folks and long-time lurkers. I was a lurker for years before I finally started posting too much relatively recently. If they can forgive me for loving bass and being allergic to treble, they'll let you hang out too.

    Hi everyone,
I was on Changstar for only a few months before the move. Spent my time bothering the founding pyrates about amp decisions and headphone comparisons. I have a Gungnir Multibit and HD800 sitting here at the moment waiting for the new single chassis Black Widow from Eddie Current. Its a big investment for me and I'm excited to hear what all the fuss is about.

Hi all! Great to see a place for a new start for HF'ers, umm I mean CS'ers, umm... Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Nice to have somewhere relaxed to chat while I'm wearing headphones (my wife has to shout too loud so that doesn't work).

Despite being into this slighty silly hobby for 10+ years, I'm only now really making efforts to figure out some of the electronics theory behind it. To that end, I'm currently futzing around with different types of DAC (D-S, R2R oversampling and NOS) in an effort to correlate theory with what I'm actually hearing. All good fun!

    Welcome Pedalhead!

I am six years in this hobby and after dozens of pieces of gear I am finally appreciating what really good sound is.

I wasted too much money on headphones and side-grades.

Hello all. Was a member on HF as a newbie and bought some cheap Chinese headphones and amp/dacs based on their recommendations, but lost faith when I noticed that everything seemed to sound good to them (and not to my ears). Discovered Innerfidelity and then CS. Made an account on CS but literally lurked all the time. Got to like to see opinions based on actual facts. I then sold most of the cheap Chinese gear, and got myself a Geek Out 1000 and a Viso HP50 alongside a dap. Currently have a Schiit and a new headphone on the horizon. Thanks all :)

Thanks! Yes, I've spent money on all sorts of side-grades over the years, but honestly the journey has been fun, and it's great to have been able to listen to so much different kit (I organised two national Head-Fi meets, so that helped to get me exposed to lots of stuff).

Hi all! I'm a longtime member over at Head-Fi and lurked over at Changstar from close to the beginning. I don't tend to post much on the forums these days but thought I'd join here to make it a little easier to follow threads I read.

p.s. I couldn't login from another computer, it didn't like my password so I tried resetting but I never received the email, tried again with the same results. I was still logged in on this computer at home, tried resetting but it's saying my password is wrong here as well. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. The password wasn't quite what I thought I had put it in, all sorted now.

Hello. I am not sure I understand CS, but everyone there is pretty nice to me. I am definitely not sure I understand here. I make amplifiers occasionally.

Hi! I had the same username on Changstar, mostly a lurker. Love the "too objective for subjectivists; too subjective for objectivsts" perspective.

Hi there. Not much to say. I lurked a lot on Changstar, might have even posted once after way too many beers.
I started a few years ago with an hd650 and the burson soloist. Got rid of both for an lcd3 and the schiit G/M stack. Back again to 650 this time with the Valhalla 2 and Ygg.
