    Not a good day. My favorite guitarist of all time Jeff Beck passed away at age 78 today.

    Drummer of YMO Yukihiro Takahashi died at only 70. He also did the English Vocals on some of the tracks. Part of me sadly died today.

    CSN, among my most favourite ever. (Y, a little less so).

    Here's something that I learned from reading an obituary yesterday...

    Who primarily introduced Indian influence into Western rock music? George Harrison and the Beatles? Well, according to the writer, it was David Crosby who Introduced Harrison to the music of Ravi Shankar, which he had been playing to The Byrds.

    Copied from a profile post I wrote:


    It seems that, out of that bunch, at least Stills and Crosby were extremely imperfect human beings. Yet, not only is their music magnificent, but their lyrics have often resonated with me.
    I guess it isn't necessary to be a saint to write good stuff.

    Oh, and by the way:

    It also seems that it was Crosby who took Joni Mitchell out of singing in a coffee shop and into the recording studio. This has to have been one of the greatest services to music and humanity ever!

    Any fans of the game Death Stranding? Low Roar founder and lead singer dead of pneumonia at 40 last October.

    The 6th album is being edited for release. No idea if Low Roar will be in Death Stranding 2.
