These came in a large box with a lot of other mid/entry level headphones.

I like most everything about these except one thing: the treble.

They are comfy, the are light, they look well made, they have decent bass, decent mids, and of course, they are black. But the treble is a bit annoying.

    CSD Right

    CSD Left

The parameters for the CSDs are as follows:

    Window: Blackman-Harris 7
    Rise Time: 0.1 ms
    Window: 10 ms
    Time Range: 5 ms
    Total Slices: 100 (max)
    Smooth: 1/48 (min)

Here is a KSC-75 CSD with the same parameters:

I think for CSDs under REW its better to keep the time range to 2.5 ms given the 100 time slice limitation:

I've never cared for any headphone based on this design. They always sound too cavernous, weird in the bass and low mids (probably a combo of slight low-end roll-off and that 300Hz dip), and unpleasant in the treble. Thanks for the measurements, though! The more I see these measured, the more I start to understand why they're not for me.

I didn't think these were that bad in the bass and low mids. It was the treble that got me a bit. Surprisingly so.

They should have saved money on the model... no one is making these look good.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, bass and mids are mostly fine, minus that 300Hz dip. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it makes things sound off. Combine that with weird treble and a generally cavernous sound, all of these headphones just don't sound cohesive to my ears.
