@dncnexus Wow, your keyboard caught my eyes more than any other audio gears in the photo (am I really an audiophile? lol). I always wanted to try the Advantage2 myself but couldn't work up the courage yet (as well as being dragged by small desk surface ).

I've enjoyed my time with it tremendously. I did some "mods" on it such as swapping the keycaps for blank PBT keys instead of the default ABS plastic ones. Greatly improved hand feel on the keys.

I also noticed slight twangs on the upstroke so took the keyboard apart and added dampening material all on the inside so it's a very satisfying tack. I'm using the silent reds so it's been very nice in my opinion auditory wise

I don't think I could go back to a standard, the keywells, ortholinear layout, and especially the thumb clusters are the best. I'm thinking of building a Dactyl Manuform atm

Edit: I also found my typing speed to increase once I got used to the board. Went from about 105 wpm average to about 115 wpm average.

I had been looking for a way to creatively organize and mount all of the components in my current headphone setup including two rackmount units and after much searching came up with what I think is a rather creative solution for about $75.

    Component List:
    Bamboo Monitor Stand - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0861B5ZP7/
    2U Rackmount Bracket - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0822MF4R5/

    rack2_rm.jpg

The rackmount bracket is attached to the bamboo stand using the four included self tapping screws. I'll dremel off the ends eventually, or switch them for a screw/bolt arrangement at some point. This provides a very stable platform to mount 2Us worth of rackmountable modules, in my case a Behringer DEQ2496 for digital EQ (this thing is seriously fun to play with) and a rackmount power distribution/line conditioner unit.

My first configuration prior to the first image is below, the Eddie Current ZDT Jr fits perfectly in the lower left hand shelf with the Bifrost taking a little bit of fiddling to get in place but it is very much secure.

Quick Pic Setup on my desktop/computer setup:

Thinkpad X260 via Roon or Foobar2000 via UPnP Output Component or BubbleUPnP > PI2AES [Toslink Output] > Massdrop x Airist R-2R DAC (RDAC) > Zampotech SW51+

Due to Audio Dropout Issue for some reason when feeding the RDAC Coax, I'm using Toslink. Yeah.... Hard to tell but the PI2AES is below that audio rack of DAC/Amp.

ATM I'm using the Sony IER-M9 IEMs on these things, sounds damn good with some Odessa. Tablet is a sideloaded Amazon Fire 10 tablet so I can run Roon/BubbleUPnP when I need to. The good setup is in my living room.

V280 powering the Aeolus? Nice combination!

    (I use a V281 w/my ZMF dynamics--very nice sonics).

What is the tall device on the right?

The tall device on the right is a Linn Sekrit DS. It is a Roon ready network streamer and DAC. It even has speaker outputs if needed. It is a great little device that Linn hides from the public and markets to custom installers. You can use it in vertical or horizontal orientation kind of like a playstation.

I guess you're a custom installer, then (Pharmaboy said, moronically)

Not a custom installer but I am a long time Linn fan so I know a lot about their products.
