Great! I'm glad you really like it. I use my set, and most other iems, with the Questyle QP1R. I also have a Mezzo Soprano modded AK120 that I use exclusively with the the UERM and Andromeda.

    Hi @shotgunshane
From your list, both Andro and PS Deca has downward slopping signature. Have I understood correctly that Andro has rebound on treble so it is brighter than Deca since Deca's treble is more laid back but Deca has goes deeper in bass than Andro?
It sounds like both are quite neutral but Andro's focus is more towards treble and Deca is towards bass. Have I got it right?
(P.S.) Which one is your current favorite TOTL IEM if you don't mind asking?
    Thank you very much~~

Hmm. I am now confused. I read 3rd party review and it says that Andro is fun sound tuning and Deca is natural uncolored sound... If this is correct, Deca is more neutral and Andro is more colored to provide excitement.. It sounds like Andro is better choice for pure music enjoyment but Deca is the choice for analytical purpose.

Andromedas are slightly coloured, but the depth of coloration changes with the device's output impedance. With a device near 0 ohms it has a more bottom heavy sound, but moves to neutral with higher output impedance of say > 2 Ohm.

Thank you for the input. Great to know. So far, Andro seems to be better choice between the two for listening pleasure... :)

I have not heard the Deca's, but sound aside, the Andros do have some comfort issues for people (it's big and angular) so the Deca's being customs would definitely be more comfortable either way, and that's fairly important too.

Good point. I used to have Nova and comfort was fine for me. If the housing size is same with Andro then I think that it should be okay. :)

I confirm housing are all the same between Orion, Nova, Jupiter & Andro. This has been confirmed by Ken when I asked him :)

i do wonder if those who found CA iems uncomfortable are using silicone tips, which with the exception of spinfits are a good deal shorter than the foamies... prior to switching to stock foamies i had that issue with spiral dots and ortofon as they made the shell too close to my ears.

Deca is tuned in the 'new' flavor of reference monitor tuning like the UERR. In fact those two measure awfully similar on Marv's rig. Bass is very flat and extended. The midrange has a middle midrange bump and treble is shelved down and easy going. The UERR has a little more midbass and less bass extension. A similar middle midrange bump but placed slightly different and shelved down treble that extends a bit further. If you are looking for this type of reference, I like the Deca a good bit more than the UERR.

To date, my favorite iem continues to be Andromeda, with the old UERM a close second. I'd call the Andromeda a very slightly downward tilting U shape. It's more in line with the UERM tuning than the UERR though. However Andromeda is extremely sensitive to output impedance and will sound brighter and closer the the UERM with a few extra ohms. I prefer Andromeda around 1 ohm, especially on my Mezzo Soprano modded AK120. Some less than 1 ohm sources do sound a good bit bassier. As you go over 3 ohms, I think Andromeda begins to sound a little too bright but it's all about preferences.

At any rate, Andromeda has some of the finest iem treble I've heard. On the right source it's simply beautifully rendered. Bass extends excellently with a tilt towards deep bass. (Think slight rise in bass versus flat bass of Deca). The midrange is pretty linear but very slightly downward tilting, with the upper midrange sounding a hair more laid back compared to the UERM. Treble rebounds for some excellent sparkle and presence. People aren't kidding when they describe the Andromeda presentation as speaker like (or as much as I've heard an iem get there).

    Hope this helps some.

I own the t10 and did own the t20. I like the t10, especially the build but there are better iems out there. I used to really enjoy the t10, but they've fallen out of favor. Which model were you looking for?

I've only heard the T10i. The build was excellent but the SQ was just so, so.

I currently have the T20 set and was looking for an upgrade to that...maybe. I like them a lot, but feel that I would like something more refined still as the T20 are still bit dry sounding. hence my question. They are indeed very well built and three year warranty is excellent. So before asking for advice I thought to see what people here have heard.

I like the t20, probably a bit more than the t10 but they just weren't worth keeping for me. Plus, I bought them at the apple store and they had the online remote, which I didn't want. What type of sound signature are you looking for?

I'm with SGS, the sound is OK. I used to like it more, but I think it was new toy syndrome. Plus, I really love the build and look of them, so I think that unfairly made me a little biased.

The Noble X has caught my eye as a possible step up sound-wise although I fear the shells might be to bulky. I tried the TFZ-S5 and they seem to be about the same size as the Noble. Perhaps to difficult to get a good deal for my ears. My full size cans are the HD650, Nighthawk, Fidelio X2 and CAL! So I would prefer something in the warmer side.
