Sold: Sonic Frontiers SFD-1 MKII

Well, life has thrown a curve ball and I'm deciding to sell my SFD-1 MKII to a Friend or contributor.

My wife's sister recently lost her job and I'd like to help her (and her daughter) out with some expenses instead of owning two dacs. I'm sure I will get my hands on an SFD again in the future.

Full transparency, I paid $1,160 (including shipping and taxes) for this unit direct from Parts Connexion with a 90 day warranty and clean bill of health about a month ago. It has the black faceplate. I added an AES input with the blessing of Glenn at Pcx as well.

I also am about half-way through installing the remaining SE+ modifications, but am waiting on a large order from Pcx to complete these mods. All in, around $350 in parts. I will also include two pairs of tubes. New production Sovtek, and barely used Voskhod NOS.

This unit is honestly a 9.5 out of 10. No marks or scratches or damage anywhere I can find. Even the stickers on the processor chips are still nearly perfect.

I'm a little over $1,500 into this dac and am looking to sell for $1,000 plus shipping. I will cover PayPal fees and pay for additional insurance. Will ship with original box, packaging and manual.
