I am the original owner of a Visonik 502/SubOne system. This was produced starting in the 1980s. While trying to learn some basics with REW and Dayton’s DATS V3, I have a question that has defied my Google skills.

Testing the satellite 2-way speakers is straight forward as most of the tutorials cover it. My question is how to test the passive SubOne subwoofer. I would like to see how the crossover is set up and the frequency range.

The question is can I test just the subwoofer, not connected to the satellites or does having the satellites connected change the performance of the subwoofer?

Thanks in advance for the advice.
