Odd, I haven't received any shipping notification even though I got the email saying mine was scheduled to ship this week.

 

Mine says it should be here on tuesday. Might be emailing everyone one at a time, I ordered in the first 30 seconds.

 

I ordered in the first few seconds as well, was among the first 50. I figure it might be because of different shipping arrangements to where I am.

 

Worry not, the Dr. Answers emails pretty swiftly (for his age), so if you get too ancy just flick 'im a whine!

 

OMG, the mass freak-out in the LC thread at head-fi is HILARIOUS.

 

It's ridiculous. Ideally, the thread title should be an audio loop of heavy breathing.

 

Pathetic really. The fact that they continue to read and post into that thread just heightens their insecurity that they don't have it yet.

I think the LC is going to be at tomorrow's NYC meet. Now that it is finally shipping, if I like it again tomorrow (enjoyed it at the spring meet) then I may place an order. Of course, knowing my luck it will probably then be sold out.

 

Since I missed the delivery today, I'll have to join you all for a drink.

 

Terry from his logistics team told me the difference in receiving shipping emails is down to the different order the fulfillment center handles the shipping (FedEx first is what I heard), the first batch of LCs are already sent out.

 

I got a ship notice by email late yesterday. I expect I'll see it Tuesday or Wednesday.

 

I'm in the queue for a Liquid Carbon and it will get here when it gets here. Not going to stress over the delivery date.

 

Anyone know who Rosson Audio, LLC is, because that's who the shipper is. Just curious.

 

I'm also in the queue and not stressing about it. I ordered after I had a chance to hear the LC at the Axpona show so I knew what I was getting.

 

I am in the queue and my life has revolved around the phone, checking it periodically through the day to see where my Carbon is. I'm running from the government now because I hacked a military espionage satellite to watch the truck on a live feed to know exactly how my future partner is doing. I'm also planning on getting married to my carbon, but I'll be seeing other people because I assume she'll be okay if I pair my DAC with others. I am so stressed that I look like my parents.

 

Carbon in da haus (well, in da office). Will post photos this evening. Not listening, because I have no three-prong IEC power cord on hand (power cord shipped with Arcam Solo Mini is two-prong). Will grab the stock power cord from the Hilo and bring it in tomorrow.

 

Got mine this morning.

First impression is that it's smaller than I remember (~1" shorter than the Pulse, 2" less wide).
It's a very well built and handsome little unit. The back and face plates are very nice. The body is rough and a dust magnet. Will be had to keep it clean.

Beware: the Liquid Carbon does not come with feet. It scratched my Geek Pulse when I plugged the RCA jacks...

Can't say much about the sound, as I only have the RE-400 (single ended) at work. Will use it at home with the Gungnir Multibit and HE-560.
Should receive the Asgard 2 today, as well.
