    As pointed out on HF:

Just to note it has been that price on Accessories4Less for several months now, Focal factory refurbished: https://www.accessories4less.com/ma...al-elear-open-back-over-ear-headphones/1.html

and then by me: Also note that Accessories4Less is Focal authorized, and the headphones come with a 1 year Focal warranty. The Amazon deal is an Amazon 90 day.

GoodHertz has 31% off their plugins, e.g. CanOpener which I prefer over Waves NX, FWIW. https://goodhertz.co/

I've spent all weekend with this plug in, and I'm hooked. I used CanOpener on my iPhone until it stopped working (GoodHerz stopped upgrading it), and I really liked it.

I documented how to use this on a Mac, if your player doesn't support AU plugins, or you want to use it globally. Basically, using BlackHole to route the audio to a loopback, then using GarageBand to host the plugins (and parametric EQ, if desired). Instructions here. I just shrink the GarageBand window as small as possible, and put the CanOpener window on top of the GB window. Works for me. I'll likely just sell the RME ADI DAC now.

    Thanks again.

Cool! Another (albeit not free) option could be using Rogue Amoeba's SoundSource to set up a global virtual audio device that can host AU plugins. (I haven't used it extensively myself as the player I use can host plugins itself.)

Yep. I looked into that, and many more options documented on my site.

Saw posted on slickdeals that the Metropolitan Opera will be streaming for anyone to watch for free, "live in HD" a series of their pre-recorded operas.
    Details etc.: https://www.metopera.org/about/pres...mpany-website-during-the-coronavirus-closure/

Also free, the Seattle Symphony will be livestreaming and rebroadcasting concerts:
    https://www.king5.com/article/news/...-ban/281-fb85c16a-ced5-484c-9c95-e6bd6fb8ae20

Hopefully, these performances may be a nice distraction for some of us - give's us a break from anxious news.
(Please keep safe and sane kind folks.)

Berlin Philharmonic's Digital Concert Hall is free for 30 days (usually a paid subscription):

They have a large archive of recorded concerts. They also do live streaming but not many concerts coming up soon.

Sort of. The app was $6.99 from 2017 until Mar 16, 2020, when it went up $2. My guess is they thought they could make a few extra bucks on people staying at home, then realized that was a bad idea.

In any event, it looks like a good mobile player, so thanks for the pointer.
