Getting Schiit stuff in Australia is expensive. MJ2 is 1650AUD from the only reseller I could find. Would hazard a guess if you order direct it's not much cheaper.

Anyhow, not my sale. Only pointing out the price isn't total lunacy.

The close out price for a new Mjolnir in Melbourne was less than what thay guy is trying to pull. It's utter lunacy to think you can get that price.

 

Don't forget GST/import duties since it's valued over $1000AUD. Unless they changed that recently?

 

I'm pretty sure Addicted to Audio was selling it for around $900 during close out.

Yes, this is an awesome set. I only hate to think about how much I spent on it when it was first initially released in what was thought to be only a limited release. But I have gotten much enjoyment out of that set and I do not believe (although correct me if I am wrong) that those mono discs are streaming on the various services; I think they have just the stereo ones.

 

You're correct. The 2009 stereo remasters are all that are streaming, not the mono or U.S. Albums. The Beatles sale looks to be over for music/films as of today though...

Edit: also the 1 remaster from 2015 it looks like.

 

Thanks to you, I grabbed the Vinyl Mono box set this morning at the sale price! Shortly thereafter, they ended the deal. It's like someone realized "crap, the deal is still up"

I have the CD Mono box set, but apparently the Vinyl is remastered differently and from the original tapes through an analog chain only, so I thought this would be worth getting. Again, thanks!!

Has anyone else had their backordered Beatles vinyl mono box set order canceled with no notice! I went to check the website and it said that they canceled my order. I called and was told that they were informed by the manufacturer that they will no longer be receiving this set anymore. It's also been taken off of their site (even at the full price).

A bit hard to open, but at least you know your headphones won't fall out without some serious effort.
