Eh, don't get Monoprice. There is better for that price.

If you want a cheap USB cable for audio use I would recommend the Cable Matters brand over Monoprice for sure. It's like $3 more but they are well made, and well shielded. If you think it doesn't matter, see atomicbob's usb measurement thread.

Well, that sale price is long gone, but monoprice has sales all the time.

I remember that thread, though cannot find it now. I don’t think bob ever measured the monolith cable. I have one and it seems to be much better than a basic usb cable, at least from its external construction. Dont confuse the monolith cable with monoprice's basic usb cable.

The AKG is... not a $350 headphone. A $60 headphone? Sure, no complaints, much better than other schlep at that price point. Somewhere in the middle for $200? Eh, it's alright as a bluetooth headset but my Sennheiser Momentum 3 easily beats it in sound and comfort. The only point the AKG wins is better passive isolation.
