@Pharmaboy okay I’ll see your fly gag and raise you an even shittier one (pun intended). I’ll get me coat before I start!
Rabbit walks into a bar in Glasgow; orders a whisky and a ham and cheese toastie in a gruff voice. The barman says ‘well now, we don’t get many talking rabbits here’. The rabbit grunts, drinks his whisky, eats his toastie and goes. Next night, the rabbit’s back ‘WHISKY AND A SPAGHETTI TOASTIE’. Aye bunny, says the barman and gets him his drink and toastie. Next night and the rabbit’s in the same time; ‘WHISKY! AND A SALAMI TOASTIE’. The barman makes an attempt at small talk, but the rabbit just grunts (in a Scottish accent), finishes up and leaves. Next night - no rabbit. The barman is a little disappointed but goes about his business and shuts up the bar later. As he’s closing up the cellar, he looks up and sees the ghost of the rabbit floating in the air! Oooooooo (in a ghostly Scottish accent). The frightened barman says ‘tell me wee bunny, are ye dead then?’ Aye, says the bunny. And tell me bunny says the barman, ‘was it the whisky that did for you?’. No says the rabbit; ‘it were “mixingmetoasties”.

 

Almost certainly... mutual!

I still have no idea what a toastie is. So many questions:

Is vegemite involved?

Orange marmelade?

Toasties are kind of like hot pockets, so yeah
