Oh, yes, Kid in a candy store. I guess I was too British-English to immediately realise that, although we use that expression too. Even though we have sweet shops rather rather than candy stores

But hey, Pedantry alert! Is it homonymacious? A kid is a baby goat, and it is still a baby goat even when we call children kids. It's just a loose way of talking about children. Or maybe it become so nymalized that it has actually, now, like a huge single-cell utterance, split into two completely different words?

This is all very challenging! I struggle... I struggle...

(I writhe and squirm too. But that's probably too much information.)
