He passed away a few days ago. He was on the team and had a love for making silly things work, using science. Mythbusters was a really good show.

 

Yeah, i used to watch it a lot, a few years ago. Was always entertaining to watch it.

At least you enjoyed the cashew, right? I'm a sucker for nuts in the middle of the night too. My weapon of choice is almonds.

 

Talk about age - I sat down this afternoon and put the cans on to listen to one of my favourite old albums I hadn't heard for a while. It's called LOVE and is basically a soundtrack to a Cirque De Sole show consisting of remixed Beatles songs, it's terrific - normally. So I start to listen and I think, shit, I didn't realize how recessed the vocals are, it's almost instrumental, oh well. Jesus, these cellos are scratchy, why did I love this?! Sad to say it took me almost 10 minutes before I checked and realized the jack plug for the LCD's was only half in - duh.

Now they've stopped selling Zantac here because it can cause Cancer. I've had cancer twice already - I'll take my chances for a good nights sleep when I've eaten too much.

If you watch this you get enough of internet for one week. Actually funny guy. He should do more real comedy..

 

I did this with my digital multimeter. Ever since I got it, it has seemed on-an-off unreliable. Well, it is a recommended make, but I did buy it from Ali Express.

So, last continuity check, (sometimes beep, sometimes no beep) I took it apart and found that the test lead plugs were only just reaching the contacts. I trimmed some of the protective sleeve on the plug away. No result. Then I, accidentally pushed harder and yes: the plugs went all the way in.

Nothing wrong with it. It's a great meter. It's got a stupid owner!
