I wrote up my research on my work with dialing in my 800's and posted it in the CookBook thread, over there.

I'll follow up with a a 2nd post that goes more into the details of the what, where, how, etc once I finish bringing my 2nd pair of 800's up to this Gen-5 level of performance, then measure them both.

Here is an initial look at the results I have been getting.

    Just more data to consider.

Having finished installing my complete VMC mod to my 'B' set of 800's and I'm now listening to them.
I must say even at this early stage of settling in, they just might surpass my 'A' set.

I'm hearing new intonations, new subtle cues, new harmonic complexities and the LEDI (Leading Edge Dynamic Impact) has also taken a step up in SQ.

It will be interesting to see if there are any discernible differences that will be apparent in my captured step response.
