    As time goes by, I have more and more appreciation for what John Tejada does. He's been at it for decades, but still comes up with fresh shit all the time. His production is impeccable, but never sterile. He's got a really broad range, it's not just the same style over and over. And his stuff is excellent for auditioning systems, headphone or speaker - a very short listen to his stuff will tell you all you need to know about transient handling, bass, and layering.

    This gave me the chills. It is from 2001 but it sounds strangely timeless.
