The Schiitr - LA

I wonder why there were 11" MacBook Airs at CanJam, but surface tablets in the Schiitr.

Microsoft's sales are in the Schiitr, of course, but I think that would be a little on the nose.

 

For what it's worth, my SP3 had a fairly black background compared to both my desktop and the two laptops I tested it against for running a FiiO E10K out of it. No formal testing, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the cheaper side of newer models of surface had better USB out than Mac stuff at a lower cost.

Though it may just be because touchscreen tablets are fun to play with. User interfacing and driving sales from the store experience and whatnot.

 

Just a quick note: the hours for the Schiitr will be changing as of next week. We're going to be open both weekend days, but at the cost of a couple of weekdays. So, as of May, the new hours will be:

Thursday-Sunday 10AM-6PM.

Being open both weekend days allows us to fit into more people's schedules—the weekdays are usually pretty dead until Friday.

 

I sent an email to Schiit yesterday, no response yet, so asking here if anyone knows if they sell gear at the store. I would like to pick up a Freya today. Will get it shipped if need be but i wanted to see the store too.

 

As far as I know, they do.
