I have been using Tidal for a few years on my walks. And since it has a black background even the excellent 900+ nits of the LG G7 cannot make it super easy to see what the heck you are selecting in full sun. Finally, I have found a solution.

Under Android accessibility menu in setting> Vison menu there is a Color inversion selection. Turn this on and BAM the background for Tidal is now white and about 3 times easier to see in bright light. Yes, the album art gets negative treatment, but I don't care. I can actually see the artist or album writing much better.

And when you come home, turn it off, and all is well.
