SBAF doesn't seem to retain my login today - is the site tossing anyone else's cookies?

Do you use by any chance HTTPS? If so, try switching to HTTP and see if SBAF is more behaved...

    As in:
    http://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/

Funny enough https is behaving correctly, http is not.

Yes, same here, and for the past few days. Sometimes the site will randomly log me out. If I close the tab and reopen the site, it will most of the time log me back in again without me having to do anything, but then after a while I am randomly logged out again. Firefox 53 on OS X 10.10.5. My phone seems to be OK.

For others coming after, I am Chrome Version 57.0.2987.133 (64-bit) on Windows 10 Pro Creator's Edition.

Could it be a Self-Destructing Cookies extension?

OK, updated Chrome to Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit), and now http does not log me in at all - submitting the login form results in a refresh with no login saved. Https is fine.

It's http causing problems on my phone. Opened another tab using https and it auto-logged in. Let's see which one boots me off.

I do have that, but SBAF is on the whitelist. It worked fine until last week or so. Plus i guess the cookie must still be there because if I close and reopen the browser tab it finds my login details again.

Got booted off both http & https. The former now won't let me log back in, but https does. I can get back in on http after doing a force stop on Chrome (Android 6.0.1).

So long as you don't have issues like my original @Grahad - where all you get is error pages - I think having to log in now and then is okay... Although this is like saying chlamydia is better than syphilis.

If I move to another page often I get logged back out. Has been happening for some time. I thought it was just me.

I noticed this a couple weeks ago. I had to delete my cookies because otherwise I was unable to log in to www.superbestaudiofriends.org. It seems that cookies set on the www subdomain are not being accepted on the superbestaudiofriends domain and vice versa.

For what it's worth, the same's been happening to me for a few weeks now, almost as soon as I signed up.

I first posted on Feb 21, 2017, in my profile post, about having trouble logging in. I got some comments about my being senile (they were fun - I'm not being sarcastic :)). landroni came up with the http/https idea. I have no problems if I stay with https. If I follow a link to http I get logged out and cannot log in until I add https to the URL in the address bar and then I am automatically logged in. Or I use the back button to the previous (https) page and I am logged in.

I use Windows 10. I just updated Chrome from Version 57.0.2987.133 (64-bit) to Version 58.0.3029.81 (64-bit) and nothing changed.

Also, if I choose the Home tab I go to http (and get logged out) and if I choose the Forums tab I go to https (and stay logged it).

Something has changed (it didn't used to be this way) but I have gotten used to dealing with it.
