I am looking for a skilled modder in the SE Michigan area. I have a Lance Cocchrane 6l6 amp that I would like to add a volume pot to and an IEC or a new permanent power cord. Happy to pay for your skills just need someone who is good at this stuff. Im in Ann Arbor and could drive the amp to you.
    best,
    Josh

I'm in Grand Rapids and skilled at soldering/modding, but not very knowledgeable. I have to rely on forums for help with the design of the modification, and then I'm good at the implementation part. Do you have any reference for someone who's done this mod before? The IEC/power cord part would be easy, but the pot... I think the signal should come from the input and connect to the grid of the power tubes with a coupling capacitor at the wiper of the pot to filter DC, but I'm clueless on the specifics. I'd be happy to do it free of charge for the learning experience and just because I enjoy it, but it's a 2hr drive each way. You could consider me a last resort.
