Bass on the UERR? Haven't heard it yet. If you're wanting skull rattling bass, albeit high quality bass, UERR isn't the place to look. JH Audio's JH13 or 16 might be something to consider, although their customer service is severely lacking. Even Andy Regan doesn't return emails when he's the one that asked questions to you.

Bass on the UERR is very good. Very natural; not midbass hyped but still very present and well extended. I tested the frequency response the other day using tones in Izotope. Subjectively, I hear the UERR down to 25Hz but the response really starts falling off below 40Hz and goes off the cliff at 35Hz. I haven't pulled out the UERM to compare but I'm pretty sure it goes off the cliff at least 10-15Hz higher somewhere in the high 40s.

I also feel that after a few weeks the treble has started to fill in a bit more. I felt the overall balance was a bit dark when I got it but now I feel it's just about right. Maybe a bit of brain break in coming from UERM or simply the transducers need some run in to get to where they are happy. Bottom line is that when I am training my ears in Harman "How to Listen" I do equally well detecting HF eq changes with UERR.

Technically the UERR is better then the UERM. Treble tone is better, imaging is slightly better, bass is a bit slower but in absolutely no way bloomy or flabby. Bass extension is significantly better giving a much fuller (better) bass experience.

I use the UERR straight out of my iPhone 6 all the time. For me optimal listening level is about 75% volume. I also add 3dB high shelf EQ starting around 4K to offset the lack of proper amplification. Sounds good, no complaints within the context of what it is.

I think the webpage is out of date. Turnaround time for my pair was 2.5 weeks from online order to at my door. (They already had my impressions on file from my Massdrop UERM order.)

FYI, I also liked these better with the Line Drive active buffer ($150 from UE). I'm sending my Line Drive out with the SBAF loaner unit. Cleaner/tighter than straight from the phone. Noticeable.

Why would you want impressions if you're not getting customs? The impressions only last for a few months, max.

UERR + Line drive = the best.

Loaner going to Marv next week. Then work, then SBAF. That's right, we have a loaner you glorious bastards :)

Does it just benefit smartphones so slightly higher OI or is it also helping sources under 1 ohm too?

Better out of my s7 edge, z3 compact and Nexus 6p with the line drive. Dunno what it is doing, I need to follow up with UE but it's a brilliant pairing.

Does anyone know what's up with international shipping options on the UE site? The only option to Canada is next day UPS for $70USD. Crazy money when I am only ordering a few cables and a line drive...
