Out of curiosity, which GO units have you tried with these devices?

Which device were you between the USB out and Gungnir Multibit?

Interesting about the Berkeley with the Gungnir Multibit. The device looks to be about $1,900 MSRP though. Have you tried a Yggdrasil?

How would you describe the differences/benefits of going from USB -> Gungnir Multibit to the Berkeley and SPDIF device you have?

    Cheers.

That was from a while ago, but I think it was with an ifimicro iDSD. The Yggdrasil with a microrendu is closer to an Yggdrasil with a Berkeley Audio using AES, but not 1,900 better. I do know it's better than the Mutec 3+ USB or 1.2.

The devices do have different effect, the BADA adds more detail, recesses the mids a little, improves micridynamics, and reduces the time smear in digital. But the microrendu is close. In a comparison setup @RKML0007 and @bazelio had set up in the last meet, I could hear differences from the microrendu vs render vs lynx card, but they were exceedingly tiny. For the cost I would do the lynx.

All these USB or USB->SPDIF devices seem to provide the user with varying grades of shitty. Some are less shitty. Some are more shitty. But with either Lynx or Rednet, you'll finally hear a notable step up.

    USB

    Lynx/Rednet :D

Hello! I really liked your post! Did you notice any improvement using wyrd and intona in chain?
