Guys, first of all thanks that you do believe in me and in this project.
When it's something complex to produce - I say so. (Premium cable, hardcass)
But 2-3 color options, extra magnet rings- not a problem. Extra ear pads? - easily, as an extended goal or as extra for fine tuning of sound.

 

I loved all the ideas for extras and versions. And then I loved the reasons why not even more!

@Garuspik, wishing you every success with this launch.

 

You know what? Include an extra set of those metal rings in the box, and cut the tiers. When the kickstarter is over, and you are producing these headphones normally, you can add a custom order option, colours, etc.

 

The more successful your launch, the more you will value every order being picking up one standard box and shipping it. Imagine 500 boxes, all to have slightly different contents!

And, as you have struck a note that has immediately gone down well on SBAF, we all hope that 500 would be only the start

 

Guys, I'll explain why I tell you that 2-3 cup colors and grills are not a problem.

1. All cups are produced white, then they need to be painted. Almost no economy on painting 10 pcs or 100 pcs. I'll store cups without painting and paint them whenever needed.

2. Grills are laser cutted. No matter for me which color aluminum to cut. That part is so cheap that storing them in any needed quantity isn't expensive.

3. Magnetic rings for earpad swapping- no comments, will do.

Other extras depends on crowdfunding results

1 - 10 pcs or 100 pcs is nothing. Since the cups are in pair you'll need always twice the amount and what if u sell 10 000 units? Will you have 2000 or 4000 cups in stock? If you do then no other worries there.

2 - About this, will u accept custom grill cutting in the future? Just a curiosity.

3 - This, i agree, would be nice to have.

I want to ask, for the benefit of all of us, that are interested in the HPs, as soon as the KS is up would be nice if ANYONE would say something here. The reason i am asking/suggestion this relates to the fact we live in different time zones and some of us, at that point in time, may not be able to keep looking at KS website.

@Garuspik can you please start the kickstarter really early in the morning?

 

To produce cups I need mould. It's an expensive piece of equipment but after you have mould you can produce 2 cups in a 15-20 seconds. Right now all Verums are made via СТС milling during ~ 4 hours\ per set. That's why I need mould and will solve all problems with cups forever.

Ah, I'll reveal a secret. I want to make a custom grill cutting to all SBAF supporters. We'll discuss it during KS campaign.

Select any moment - somewhere on the earth it's early in the morning I'll hit the launch button about 18:00 at KIEV time. It's a USA morning.

 

Could this be a golden schlong custom grill!? Truly a headphone to end all headphones.

Jokes aside, really excited for Verum. I'll be getting one for sure once the campaign is launched. (And there goes my plan to save up for Gungnir Multibit!) Wish you nothing but success!

 

I wish I couldn't imagine my wife saying, "But you told me, when you bought that horribly expensive HD800 thing, that it was going to be your last ever headphone purchase."

But the launch has my very best wishes, even if I can't back that up with cash.

 

Cue a future request on Kickstart to make Verum look like an HD800.

Even "just" SBAF written on it would be great.

I must say though that Would be good to make sure only those who are members would get it though. Wouldn't be good to get a flood of new members just because they would think the SBAF would be some kind of uber edition (yes people can be like that).

Maybe not writing anything on KS would be best and every member here can just send a message when we get the email to confirm addresses and such.
