Great games no doubt. I had a blast with the first Dishonored and am a bit sad that I don't have enough time to finish the second.

Just before CP2077 hits us I want to do Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. This is pixel art souls-like that has Lovecraft horror all over it.

Can’t stop playing Sackboy A Big Adventure with family. It’s a lot of fun and the soundtrack is great too.

I normally get bored with sim city style games, but just bought and played Frostpunk on a whim and it was a great and addictive game. I haven't stayed up late playing video games in years but I did the first night with this game.

Long story short, alt history game set in the 1880s (ish). World freezes over on it's own and you have a group of survivors. Sort of play sim city to survive.

Only downside is I only got about 10 hours out of it... but it's $10 on Steam (sale) right now. I could play again, etc. but it's one of those games where after you win you just feel "done" - at least for a while. FWIW (and not to brag) though - it does seem like most people take a few runs to beat the game and hence some people may get more time out of it based on reviews, but I (and therefore I suspect others can too) beat it in 1 try w/o a guide, cheats, going full on 3rd world dictator mode (you'll see why this is significant early on in the game), etc. I am not a strategy game or board game genius which may have squeezed an extra hour or two of game play out for me (I also suspect experience with both would help a lot with playing faster and winning this game).

Got bored of Genshin Impact because the timers everywhere (never mind that none of them are strictly for "essential" things) just stressed me out and killed what fun I had exploring the map and stumbling across random events and caches. Some bugginess too with enemies turning properly invisible, making reading them impossible (thought I was fighting just another golem thing, was surprised when I got a popup notifying me that nope it was a new creature).

Tempted to revisit Arcanum: of Steamworks and Magick Obscura and play through the whole thing again. Haven't touched it in many years but I'm on a bit of a nostalgia binge lately and this is one of the PC games that really drew me into CRPGs in the first place. Yes looking into Frostpunk was what triggered this, haha.

Ended up buying Katarmi Damacy Reroll for PC on Steam. I forgot how much fun I had with this game on the PS2 and the soundtrack just brings back so many memories. I now have the wife addicted to it and find her sitting on my computer, headphones on, with the most focus look while she tries to roll the biggest ball.

Right now my focus is to finish Final Fantasy XV and Nier: Automata before Cyberpunk comes out.

I just got back to Warhammer: Dark Omen with mods. This one will never get old to me!

Some games are classics that just never really get old (the first Dragon Age game is that to me, esp. with mods). It's a bit of a tossup between Arcanum and Planescape: Torment now, I just want the one game to really sink into rather than juggling loads of different ones. Eh either is a good pick imo.

    Go for the eyes BOO!

Baldur's Gate 2 was so engrossing and so much fun. Jon Irenicus was one of the most fleshed out antagonist -- motives, feelings, and madness. The opening sequence with him blowing up tower mages like if it was just another day for him had me hooked.

To this day one of my favorite memories was when I was 10 years old visiting my older cousin Jeff and he showed me Baldur's Gate. I was first blown away by the 5 disc sleeve of the game, and then the game itself. A couple months later he let me borrow it and I spent a solid year playing it. I was reading R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt books at the time and finding him in the game was one of the coolest moments ever.

Lots of days went by sitting on a chair outside, reading R.A. Salvatore’s books. The Drizzt books were some of my favorite, Artemis Entreri, and Jarlaxle. Also Ed Greenwood’s Elminster who you also meet in the first game and second games.

Haha! Looking up when bg1 released so I would have some context for my age at the time (knowing the game was brand new) made me feel old too.

The fact that you were only 10 when it released is what made me feel old.

Anybody jump on the Cyberpunk 2077 train yet? Started on it last night. If you toss out ALL of the hype... good and bad... its a really fun experience...

...assuming it runs well on your pc...

...also assuming youre not on PS4.

Forreal though, seriously enjoying it. People have been crying 'gta clone' and comparing it to rdr2, but you know what? Deus ex. It reminds me way more of that. And Im more than okay with that.

I need either a new graphics card or a PS5, neither of which are available.

I have contemplated trying the GeForce Now service so I can get ray tracing on my bigscreen.

Dude I am having a f'ing blast playing Cyberpunk. It's so much fun. I love how many different options you have. My only complaint is the aim assist is pretty bad, so I'm stuck playing with mouse and keyboard on my couch (streaming to my nvidia shield).

    I'm playing on PC. Ryzen 3700x and 1080Ti getting 60+ fps on high/ultra 1440p.

I'm enjoying the hell out of the game as well. I went Corpo and the detail and immersion of the game is crazy. The driving isn't the best, but I didn't really buy the game thinking it would be Forza either, lol.

I'm playing on my laptop, i7-9750H, RTX 2060, and a 144hz panel. I have ray tracing on and I'm getting 80 to 100 fps on average with the settings on high.

Cyberpunk 2077 has me engrossed. Everything from the city, the music, the rpg elements, and side quests are really fun. The visuals are just gorgeous. As said before, it reminds me of Deus Ex, Blade Runner, and Altered Carbon.

The game brings my 3080 to it's knees but it's fun as hell. Started last night, too.
