    I'm thoroughly disurbinated. Fully. Truly...

    ...damn, that sounds nice though.

Oh, okay... so they're French. That explains everything. In the best way possible :p

Instrumental-wise, everything I find with this dude's name on it is like the most low-key Tame Impala, slowed down with weird goo poured over it, with the occasional progressive bent. I have a love-hate with obscure little indie dealies, but I think this passes for me. So many nice grooves and really pleasant passages. Super-creative, too. I guess the overall vibe is make or break for any particular person. I like that chill mystique it has. It's cheeky and doesn't take itself too seriously. The dude works pretty hard on those weird fucking animations, too. It's a whole package. There's a vision there.

This album has cracked my skull open (in a very good way). Insane dynamics, detail, skill and emotional artistry. It's experimental electronic music, but mixed with orchestral samples, live vocals (maybe live instruments too?) and a great use of reverb to give each instrument and song a sense of space and movement you don't usually find in pure electronic music. Lots of swells, pauses, insanely fast runs and whiplash explosions of sound. Freaking intense - not sure I could listen to the whole thing in a single sitting.
