In the words of David (Rex), a good friend:

"this is [a] perfect way to share music with others and open a new world of listening. remember sharing is caring" :)

Wow some classic Whitesnake! I just listened to them a few nights ago, I like Slip of the Tongue album, Steve Vai ended up doing all the guitar work on that album.

Here ya go ultrabike, remember these guys? Some consider them a "One-Hit Wonder" but I actually loved this whole album, and their second album Hungry. The also made several albums after that that I just became aware of within the past year.

I'm listening to Starbucks radio though the crappy speakers they have placed throughout the store. Song is Sunburn by Ed Sheran. Should have grabbed my portable rig :)

As a formerly frequent lindy hopper (swing dancer), this is some incredibly awesome music.

Glad you're enjoying it. I used to go swing dancing many years ago. Still love that music.

The final showdown with Drago and Rocky was filmed in my hometown, it was a big deal when I was a kid...lol

Have the soundtrack on vinyl too ;)

I crack up everytime I see this vid or hear the song. 80's music FTW

I am reaching the end to my fiscal year at work, and have been tasked to reach some very lofty goals. I have always been a Death Cab fan, and thought that _Plans_ was the most beautiful album that they have produced. But I heard their new album _Knistugi_ on the NPR site for upcoming releases and Black Sun drew me in. Just felt perfect for this place in my life and the album really explains a lot of what I feel right now, but can not speak. So since I am working close to 17 hour days this month in order to make goals (with the commute) and help the people I advocate for at work, _Knistugi_ has been my anthem album right now.

However, come October, all bets are off. I am leaning toward Nirvana right now. But you never know, I tend to go with my gut when scanning my playlist.

That's my favorite on this album. I have the remaster done by Steven Wilson. I think he did an outstanding job.

Same master here. There's a moment when Jeff is playing the flute and he is gasping for breath and saying yeah at the same time. Well captured in this master.
